The Black Point family is another group of consoles which uses the General Instruments AY-3-86xx/87xx game chips in their cartridges. Where they differ from dedicated Pong consoles is that the chips used are found in the cartridges, allowing for one system to play many different games--something unheard of in this era of Pong consoles.
There are 7 games available, corresponding to the 7 GI chips they used, usually numbered from 1001 to 1007. There are 3 different console designs.
All the cartridges in this category are compatible with all the systems listed here, but not with other systems that use the GI AY-3xxx chips.
Likewise, cartridges from the other cartridge families will not fit on Black Point family systems. They may be considered software compatible, all playing the same games, but not cartridge compatible.
